William Henry Nichols

North Greenbush-William Henry Nichols, 90 died on Saturday December 1, 2018 at Van Rensselaer Manor.

William was born in Bellows Falls, VT., on November 17, 1928, he was the son of the late William L. Nichols and Laura Fisher Nichols.

He attended schools in Saxtons River and Bellows Falls, VT. On June 14, 1952 he married his loving wife Ruth Tenney Nichols. William worked most of his life in lumber and building supply. In 2000 he retired from Strober Lumber and Building Supply in New Windsor, NY and moved to North Greenbush.

In addition to his wife Ruth, he is survived by his children David Nichols of North Greenbush, Lawrence Nichols of Bellows Falls, VT., Walter Nichols of Myrtle Beach, SC and Heidi Diver of Nassau, NY and Oklahoma City, OK., his ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, his brother Raymond Nichols of Southbury, CT. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Nichols and sister Myrtle Fletcher.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
