Brian Crowley Obituary

Brian Scott Crowley,77, went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2025 after a bravely fought long illness.

Born in Milbridge, Maine December 14, 1947 he was the son of Horace Mann Crowley and Lillian Holland Crowley.

He served as a Marine in the Vietnam war and later in the Army Reserves and National Guard.

Brian graduated from Wahconah Regional High School in 1965 along with his wife Linda who he married in 1967 and just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.

He also was a graduate of the University of South Dakota at Springfield.

Brian is survived by his wife Linda Enos Crowley, his son Brian Eric Crowley, his daughter in law Laura, and lovely granddaughter Willa.

He also leaves behind his sisters MaryAnn Richardson, Deborah Dill, and Verna Michna, sister-in-law Bonnie Preston, best friend John Anderson, and brothers in law Glenn Richardson, George Michna, Martin Enos, John Enos, Robert Rombeiro, Kirk Preston and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, a still born daughter, his sister Karen Avalle, brother Russell Crandall, and sister-in-law Sheila Rombeiro.

Brian retired from Freihofers in 2006 and spent the rest of his years involved in and supporting dog and horse rescues and working tirelessly lobbying and advocating for the welfare and protection of all animals.

Brian wanted everyone to know that he was grateful for a long happy marriage to his high school sweetheart and for a great son who shared his love of martial arts and always did him proud.

Per his request there will be no service or calling hours.  The family asks that you share your fondest memories with one another and remember him as a man of honor who loved God, family, his friends, and his beloved dogs.

In Brian's memory and in lieu of flowers please send donations to a cause after his own heart and the oldest horse rescue in the country.
