Charlotte E. (Geissler) Diehl

Charlotte E Diehl, 82, of Wynantskill, formerly of Saranac, passed away Friday, December 26,2025 at The Grand Rehabilitation at Barnwell.

Charlotte was born in Madison, Wisconsin; the daughter of the late Charles and Cora Geissler and sister to the late Charles Geissler Jr. She graduated from Pottsville High School in 1961 and then moved to the Wynantskill area. She spent her life caring for her husband and daughters.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald J Diehl, and she was heartbroken when he died. They were always together enjoying fishing, sightseeing, wood cutting and just spending time together outside.

Charlotte leaves behind her daughters, Donna Gibson, Sherry Slagen (Tai), Melanie Hankle (Joseph), and son in law James Gibson, sister-in-law Karen Geissler along with her children, Gregg Geissler (Dawn Vyvial) and Karla Geissler Jones (Bryan). She also leaves behind her lifelong best friend Bunny Ayotte. Grandmother of David, Kimberly, Jonah, Caden, Landon, Jaime, Tylor, and Hunter and many great grandchildren.
