Christine Lynn (Crispo) Sharp passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025 due to complications of dementia. Chris was the daughter of the late Peter Crispo and Katherine (Ringer) Crispo of Cohoes and widow of Burton A. Sharp of Troy, NY.
Chris attended Cohoes High graduating in 1969. She held many positions to include a transcript typist for CBI where she worked from home while also working as a stay at home mom. Chris later worked for the Gardner Dickenson School of Wynantskill as a teacher assistant where she loved working with the kids and also babysat for several neighborhood kids after school. She loved kids, was a natural with them and so enjoyed doing things involving the kids. Chris then moved on to become a receptionist at Employee Health of Samaritan Hospital until her retirement.
Chris was most happy spending time with family and friends camping and shopping. She enjoyed all the creative hobbies like ceramic painting, sewing, card and jewelry making. Chris was always active and ready to lend a helping hand or offer a friend a laugh.
Chris leaves behind her daughter Samantha Sharp who she loved and adored more than life itself, and her adopted daughter Kaylah Stroud both of Troy, NY. She is also survived by her sisters Shirley (Richard) Shannon , Debra (Harvey) Kern, and her brother-in-law Terence(Victoria) Sharp, as well her Nieces Cynthia Perier, Melanie Irvine and Courtney Kern-Giles, her Nephews Roger and Eric Sharp and the late Michael Shannon.
The family would like to give special thanks to Debbie Jones her long time friend and neighbor, and Kim Maldonado, who cared for Chris, whose dedication and friendship meant so much.
Christine will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering love of family and friends. She will be missed by all who had the honor and privilege of knowing her.
