Troy-Curtis G. Hayner, 65 passed away in the loving arms of his wife on December 31, 2023 at his home.
Born and raised in Troy, He was the son to the late Marvin Hayner and Margaret Frisch Hayner and the loving husband to Beth Killian Hayner.
Curtis was educated at St. Patrick’s School, Troy High School and Hudson Valley Community College.
He worked for over 20 years at Amerada Hess Corp and later at Armstrong in Amsterdam as a boiler engineer until his retirement.
Curtis is survived by his wife Beth Hayner, his siblings Midge (Frank) Groff, Martha (Joseph) Rounds, Marvin (Lynn) Hayner, Alida (Kevin) Hayner-Buchan, his nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his faithful K-9 EdithAnn.
Curtis loved going on cruises, camping and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother and father, he was predeceased by his brother Joseph (Mary) Hayner. Family and friends are invited and may call from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Wynantskill Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday January 6, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Eagle Mills Cemetery. Please visit www.wynantskillfh.com.
