Wynantskill-Dominick A. Testo, Jr., 89 passed away on April 15, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Born and raised in Troy, he was the son of the late Dominick A. Testo, Sr. and Carrie DeBonis Testo and the loving husband of 64 years to Mary Mahoney Testo.
Dominick graduated from LaSalle Institute, class of 1949, he served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. He retired from John J. Boland Distributors in Troy as an Anheuser-Busch Representative, retiring in 1993.
Dominick was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants Football fan, he coached at Spring Little League from 1967 to 1973 when his sons played.
In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by his sons Dominick (Debbie) Testo, III, William (Judy) Testo, Daniel (Mary Anne) Testo and Christopher Testo, his grandchildren Dominick (Nicole) Testo IV, David (Kari) Testo, Nick (Elise) Testo, Anthony (Kayla) Testo, Liam Testo (Tori), his great grandchildren Gia, Luca, Natalia, Bella, Santino, Jovani and Nico, his sister Mary (the late Eugene “Buddy”) Reo, also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited and may call on Monday April 19, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill. Funeral mass to follow at 12:00 pm at church, with Reverend Anthony Ligato, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy, NY. Please note that social distancing, masks and occupancy limitations in the church are required.
