Wynantskill-Donald N. Perrott, 89 passed away on Thursday December 29, 2022 at the Van Rensselaer Manor.
Born in Bennington, Vermont, he was the son to the late Reginald V. Perrott and Dorothy Miller Perrott and the loving devoted husband to the late June Watrous Perrott who passed away in 2005.
Donald graduated from Lowell Technological Institute with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (R.P.I.) with a Master’s in Business Administration. Donald worked as an industrial engineer for Sterling Drugs in Rensselaer.
Donald is predeceased by his mother, father, his daughter Mary Jane Perrott, and his brother Richard “Dick” Perrott.
He is survived by his children Susan M. Costello of Wynantskill, Dorothy A. DeLong of Troy, Stephen D. Perrott (Valerie) of Saratoga Springs, Donald N. Perrott II of Albany, Richard A. Perrott of Wynantskill, and Mark A. Perrott of Wynantskill. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Carol, Tim, Jim, Emily, Caitlin, Stephen, Rich, Jenna, and Elizabeth and ten great grandchildren, Emery, Parker, Sam, Clara, Owen, Cameron, Aria, Layton, Holden, and Cameron; brother Patrick Perrott (Judy) of Bennington.
Donald was a North Greenbush Republican Committeeman and served on the Wynantskill School Board.
Donald was an entrepreneur at heart and with his sons and daughters had a successful residential insulation family business. He also had a rewarding career in real estate as an agent and later writing broker price opinions.
