Earl F. Catman

North Greenbush-Earl F. Catman, 85 passed away on Monday May 10, 2021 after a brief illness.

Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Frederick and Edith Catman and was predeceased by his wife MaryAnn.

Earl was a graduate of the LaSalle Institute in Troy and a veteran of the US Army. He was a retiree of the Carpenter’s Local 370 union having been employed as a superintendent with the former Beltrone Construction Co. for over 30 years. Earl was also employed in the building department of the Town of North Greenbush eventually retiring in 1997.

He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill volunteering for various parish events and spent many years overseeing the CYO basketball program.

Earl is survived by his children Cheryl (Frank MacKay), Kevin (Kelly), David, and Mark Catman and his grandchildren Ashley (Lloyd) Tomlin and Collin Catman, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his seven siblings.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
