Edward K. Wilcove

Edward K. Wilcove, 80 died peacefully at his daughter’s home on December 5, 2021. Born in Utica, NY. He was the son to the late Nathan Wilcove and Rose Cohen Wilcove and the loving husband of Madaline McGrath Wilcove.

Edward was the manager of car sales at Jack Byrne Ford in Mechanicville for over 47 years, he retired in January of 2020.

In addition to his wife Madaline, he is survived by his children Jennifer (Russ) Laustrup of Troy, Colleen (Carl) Shank of Cohoes and William (Regina Kane) Raleigh of Halfmoon, his grandchildren Kelly Mitchell, Mary Beth (Andrew) Guntlow, Chad Laustrup, Riley Laustrup, Nathan Laustrup and Grant Laustrup, his great grandchildren Milo, Maile, Marle, Lydia and Charlie, his siblings Deanna (Rudy) Langer, Melvin (Laura Cohen) Wilcove and Elaine Wilcove, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Edward was predeceased by his mother, father and siblings Myles Wilcove and Selene Barbara (Jerry) Nadler.

Family and friends are invited and may call from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday December 12, 2021 at the Wynantskill Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday December 13, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. (Funeral procession will meet at Oakwood Avenue Entrance at 10:45 am)
