Eric Bruce McLoughlin, “Pirate”, a lifelong resident of Troy, passed away on October 29, 2025 after a long illness. Born February 14, 1954, he was the son of the late Bernard and Bertha McLoughlin.
Eric was the devoted husband of 40 years to his wife, Colleen McCormack McLoughlin, and the proud father of Molly Fryer (Jeremy), Devin McLoughlin (Deana), and Megan Ryan (Gregory). He was a loving grandfather to Ailysh and Maeve, He is also survived by his brother Shawn McLoughlin and his sister Christine “Teena” McLoughlin, as well as many well-loved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Eric was the owner of Monocrete Steps, a family business he took great pride in and ran with dedication for many years.

A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 310 Spring Ave, Troy. In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
