James C. Henchey

James C. Henchey passed away at home in Troy on January 2, 2019. Jim spent his career at the New York State Comptroller‘s Office, working in the Employee Retirement System. He was a free spirit and fiercely independent, living his life without compromise and according to his own rules. His family and loved ones will miss his laughter, his endless catalog of hilarious stories, and his ancestral Irish wit and sense of humor. He was beloved by his surviving siblings, Anne (Collins), Margaret (DeRosa), Terence and Joseph, and was a devoted and loving uncle to Deirdre, Elizabeth, Megan, Michael and Connor. May his gentle soul rest in peace until we all meet again.
