North Greenbush – Jane T. Votra, 78, entered into eternal life peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026.
Born in Troy, Jane was the beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Genevieve Fennelly. She dedicated many years of service to her community as a police dispatcher for both the North Greenbush Police Department and the Green Island Police Department.
Jane found joy in music, adored her many pets over the years, and treasured every moment spent with her family. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her devotion to those she loved, and the many memories she created with family and friends.
She is survived by her longtime loving companion, Allen Lawrence; her devoted son, Brian (Michelle) Lutz; her grandchildren, Jessica (Justin Keller) Page, Christina (Zachary) Valentine, Michael Cipriani, and Derrick Cipriani; her great-grandchildren, Logan, Maddie, Lucy, and Levi; son in law, John Page and her sisters, Marion (the late Danny) Rainville and Carol Ann (Dr. Michael) Gallo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins and extended in-law family members.
In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her beloved daughter Kimberly Page and her late husbands, Robert Lutz and Bruce Votra.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jane’s visitation hours on Saturday July 25, 2026 at 10:00 am to 12:00pm with a funeral service following at 12:00pm at the Wynantskill Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Rd, Wynantskill, NY. Burial will follow immediately at Blooming Grove Cemetery.
Jane’s kindness, strength, and love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
