Joan D. (Gwinn) Quell

Joan D. Quell (Gwinn) of Sagendorf Lane passed away on July 13, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife to the late Robert J. Quell, Sr.

Born June 28, 1932 in Green Island, she was the daughter of John Gwinn and Laurina Archambeault Gwinn.

Joan was educated in Averill Park School District, she worked at Van Rensselaer manor as a nursing assistant for many years, before she retired.

She is survived by her daughters Susan (William) Barry and Joan Radcliffe, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who she enjoyed very much, her siblings Betty Diehl and Kenneth Gwinn, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, father and husband Robert, Joan was predeceased by her sons Robert Quell, Jr and Roger Quell, Sr, her siblings Lorraine Harris, Theresa Foster, Elaine Williams, Lourdes Williams, John, George, Bernard, Richard and Joseph Gwinn.

There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be private. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Wynantskill.
