John Steinberg passed away, April 12, 2023 at his home in Sand Lake, NY.
John was the first son but fourth of six siblings born to Lyle and V. Kathleen Thomas Steinberg of Potsdam, NY. (Both deceased)
He married the love of his life, Marcy. They spent 40 married years together and had 2 children Jana Price (Paul) and Justin Steinberg (Rae). Sand Lake, NY was their family home for 38 years. John was blessed with 3 grandchildren: Sandra Lee Price, Sidney Fan Steinberg and Walter William Steinberg.
John was a master builder. From 16 on John worked every aspect of the building trade, from picking up and delivering supplies, to supervising massive commercial buildings and ending his career on East Hampton, LI working on a multimillion dollar beachfront home.
After he retired, he continued to work on their family home of 38 years until he was no longer able. He left his wife a bit of heaven and his soul in their homestead.
