Lorraine A. (Carroll) Milanese

Lorraine Ann Milanese, 82, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, September 23, 2021.  Born in Troy on July 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Carroll and the late Alethea Engwer Carroll. 

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Anthony D. Milanese. They were married for 53 years when he passed in 2017.  Lorraine was also predeceased by her beloved son, Anthony Milanese; and her brothers Richard (Judy) Carroll and Joseph (Mary Lou) Carroll, Jr.

She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Lori (Michael) Brown of Wynantskill; three sons, Michael (Maureen) Milanese of Plattsburgh, Daniel Milanese of West Sand Lake and Joseph (Gina) Milanese, Sr. of Wynantskill; seven grandchildren, Chelsea (Adrian) Fernandez, Julia, Gabriel and Victoria Brown, Anthony Milanese, Joseph Jr. and Daniel Milanese; one great grandson, Jayce Pratt.

Lorraine’s favorite things in life were her family, making new friends everywhere she went and having “God appointments”.  Lorraine was a lover of God and a lover of people.  She was a mother to many and a friend to all!  Her life was a beautiful reflection of the unconditional love of Jesus.  Her biggest heart’s desire was to see as many people follow her on the path to heaven as possible. 

An open celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held Sunday, October 10, at 2:00 at Light of the World Church, 28 Sparrowbush Road, Latham, NY 12110.
