Marcy Ann (Bain) Poulin

Troy-Marcy Ann Poulin was 54 when she passed away on January 1, 2026 at Saint Peters Hospice in Albany, NY due to an aggressive battle with cancer. She resided and was born on May 8, 1971 in Troy, NY.

She attended and graduated from Lansingburgh High School and then continued on to American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she completed a 2-year associates degree. She was a well-versed women's basketball player at both the high school and collegial levels.

She started her own business in 1993 with her husband, Peter Poulin, which is still active today while also taking on an added position with Questar BOCES, starting as a special education teachers assistant and then getting promoted to the secretary at Paul Puccio School. She attended Our Lady of Victory Church and enjoyed watching her children, Renna and Joey, play basketball throughout their high school and college careers.

She is survived by her family including her husband, Peter Poulin of 32 years marriage, her daughter, Renna Poulin, son Joey Poulin, her mom, Phyllis Bain, and father, Thomas Bain, as well as her two brothers, Thomas Bain and Ricky Bain.

Marcy will be missed by all due to her immense impact on the lives around her. We will miss her warm smile, loud laugh, and the love she shares with everyone.

The memorial wake and funeral services will be held the same day, Saturday January 10, 2026 at Our Lady of Victory, starting with the wake from 9:00 am through 11:45 am and the mass to proceed at 12:00 pm.
