Marilyn A. (DeLuca) Maguire, 84 passed away on Saturday September 18, 2021 after a long courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter to the late Joseph DeLuca and Rose Speciale DeLuca and the loving wife to the late Edward J. Maguire, Sr.
Marilyn graduated from St. Patrick’s School, Troy, NY and Catholic Central High School, Troy, NY class of 1955.
Marilyn worked for the New York State Office of General Services as a custodian supervisor.
Marilyn loved to cook; she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Edward (Diane) Maguire, Jr of Malta, Kathleen (Paul) DiMura of Wynantskill, Terry (DeAnn Troutman) Maguire of Troy and Patricia (James) Rubino of Wynantskill, her grandchildren Paige (Brandon) Farinaccio, Jason Maguire, Emily DiMura, Ethan (Alicia Munandi) DiMura, Brett Fenton, Shelby Fenton, Hayley Fenton and James Rubino, her sister Frances (late William) Martin, also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, father and husband Edward, she was predeceased by her daughter Lisa (Richard) Fenton.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday September 23, 2021 at the Wynantskill Funeral Home 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 am on Friday September 24, 2021 at the St. Michael the Archangel Church, 175 Williams Road, Troy. Burial will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John H. Clinton Funeral Home now located at Wynantskill Funeral Home.
