Wynantskill-Maureen Keefe Scoville, 88 died April 17, 2023 Evergreen Commons Nursing Center.
Born on November 4, 1934 to the late John E. Keefe, Sr, and Irene Harris Keefe and the loving wife to the late Webster C. Scoville, Jr., they were married 27 years.
Maureen graduated from Catholic Central High School, St. Peter’s Hospital School of Nursing, Russell Sage College; BNS Nursing; later RCS Certificate in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC), spanning a combined work history of 56 years.
She is survived by her children Bonnie Sourwine (Richard), Jean Moore (Glenn), Gary Scoville (Tami), and her grandchildren Jenna, Matthew, Lily, Cole, and Sara, she is also survived by several great grandchildren.
She loved family, friends, Catholic Mass, work, dogs, a good laugh, reading, writing, sewing and yard work. Prayer:” Lord. For all that has been Thanks, for all that will be Yes.”
In addition, to her mother, father, and husband, she was predeceased by her brother John E. Keefe, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass at 10:00 am on Saturday April 22, 2023 at St. Jude The Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watervliet. Calling hours will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday April 21, 2023 at the Wynantskill Funeral Home 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill.
