Palma (Pam) Levesque Obituary

TROY — It is with great sadness that the family of Palma (Pam) DelMonico Levesque announces her passing on March 11, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 25, 1942, in Troy, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Dominick DelMonico and Viola Lawrence and was raised in Watervliet. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Levesque.

Palma was a graduate of Catholic Central High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a branch manager for Capital District Off-Track Betting. After retiring, she continued to give of herself by volunteering at St. Mary’s Hospital, where her kindness and warmth touched many.

Palma had a deep love for life’s simple joys. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and bocce, doing crafts, and she could always be counted on to find a song worth dancing to. But nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose home and heart were always open. Palma had a special way of making everyone feel welcome, loved, and cared for. She celebrated every milestone, offered comfort in difficult moments, and took great pride in the lives and accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. The time she spent laughing, talking, and simply being together with those she loved most was what she cherished above all else.

She is survived by her loving children, Philip (Darlene) Levesque, Ronald (Stacy) Levesque, Daniel (Carol) Levesque, Michele Levesque, Lonna Fiacco, Richard (Jennifer) Levesque, and Joseph (Lara) Levesque. She was the cherished grandmother of Jordyn (Nick) Thornton, Taylor Levesque, Kiana (Dominic) Krege, Anthony Fiacco, Alyssa Levesque (Damien Janzen), Lauren Levesque, Joseph Levesque, Evan Levesque, Nick Fiacco, Hunter (Joey) Brungo, Alec Levesque, and Dominick Fiacco, and the beloved great-grandmother of six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Dianne Bentley-Kennedy, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Kay Reiser and Mavourneen Northup were cherished friends.

Palma will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity of spirit, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her family was her greatest joy and proudest legacy, and her love will continue to live on through them.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Wynantskill Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 15. A private interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Monday, March 16.
