Pamela J. (Rainville) Beckwith, 64, of Wynantskill, passed away peacefully in the afternoon of November 24th. In her final moments, she was surrounded by loved ones.
Pam is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Rainville, her husband Mark Beckwith, her son Lee Wait, son-in-law Scott Cooper, and great-nephew Kyle Durocher.
Pam is survived by her daughter Jennifer Cooper, sons’ Alfred (Tina) and Jason (Holly) Wait, her grandchildren Melissa Cooper (Ryan Miller), Kiauna Wait (Chris Hurley), Tyler and Andrew Wait, and great grandchildren Paiton and Kaitlyn. She is also survived by her four brothers’ Joseph Jr., David (Pauline), Robert (Joan) and James (Karen) Rainville,
Pam lived and worked most of her life in and around the greater Albany region. One previous special occupation to Pam was working with and taking care of the elderly Sisters of St. Colman’s. As a regular attendee of St. Michael’s and St. Jude’s, Pam’s Faith was very important in her life. She would often drive around finding unique quiet places to say her Rosaries.
Pam had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially dogs. Over the course of her life, she would often have a four-legged road companion along for her daily travels and long trips. Pam’s most recent loved companion, “Pumpkin”, would be by her side until passing away over a year ago. She will also be greatly missed by her great-grand puppy “Cheech” who had a special bond with her.
Lastly, Pam will be remembered for enjoying the small things in this life. She always enjoyed time with family over a good meal, a cup of coffee, pictures of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and daily visits and trips to see those she held most dear.
Pam will be forever missed but we know she is at peace, in God’s care and protection, joined in Heaven with those who continue to watch over our family.
