Patricia A. (Richardson) Sadowski

Patricia (Pat) Sadowski at 81 years old from Troy, NY passed away peacefully at home after an
aggressive illness, surrounded by her loving family, some of whom visited from far away to help.
Born in Brooklyn, she has lived in Saratoga Springs, Greenfield Center, and finally in Troy for
the past 17 years.
She was a graduate of St. Rose, after completing her degree in under 3 years w/ the Dean’s
permission so she would have her degree before her daughter began hers.
She loved helping the Greenfield Center Lions (including the Speech & Hearing Clinic) & Our
Lady of Victory Church with the Columbiettes & Knights of Columbus. Making many baked
goodies, prayer shawls and more. She loved helping at the church and doing crafts such as
embroidery, crochet, and was a great seamstress.
She is survived by her loving husband Vince Sadowski with whom they just celebrated their 61st
wedding anniversary together, her children Brenda (Mike) and Sid (Stacey) & their children
MJ (Aarika), Michael, Tricia (Tim) and Sam (Chelsea) as well as Bradley (Melissa),
Jonah (Morgan), and Syd Ryan respectively. She was also blessed with 3 great grandchildren
Jeremiah, Joe, Conrad, and one on the way. Extended but very close family also includes 4
sisters in law, Donna, Alice, Rosie (Ray), and JoAnn (Ronnie) and their families who were loved
dearly by her as well.
Pat was predeceased by her mom, dad, and her 2 brothers.
A private ceremony will be held with the immediate family. In loving memory of Pat Sadowski,
donations can be made to Community Hospice or St. Jude.
