Phyllis Kathleen Weatherwax, 98, of Petersburg passed away Feb 21, 2022 at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls. She was born on March 29, 1923. Phyllis survived two younger sisters Agnes and Ginger who passed several years earlier. Phyllis is survived by her niece Sherri Dye and several relatives in Oregon along with her Daughter Kathleen Weatherwax who still resides at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Her husband Charles Weatherwax, an Albany Policeman predeceases her. In the early 1940’s Phyllis completed a beautician’s program and became a hair dresser. In her lifetime she had many fields of employment including hair dressing, modeling, and sales. Phyllis worked for a dental office that lead her to begin working for Blue Cross Blue Shield as a claims representative. After Retiring from Blue Cross Blue Shield she returned to Hair Dressing, opening her own salon. Phyllis often did home visits for her elderly clients. This lead Phyllis to becoming a licensed home health aide until she finally retired. Phyllis had a diverse and interesting life by living almost until 100. Now she is welcomed into heaven by god and his heavenly host for eternity,
