Robert “Bob” Berthiaume, 74 passed away suddenly on Friday September 30, 2022, at his home. Born in Cohoes, Bob was a graduate of Cohoes High School class of 1967. After graduating, he enrolled with the New York State Army National Guard and began working as a machinist at General Electric in Schenectady retiring in 2004. He loved being and working in the outdoors and has been working since his retirement as a seasonal groundskeeper at Wolfert’s Roost Country Club in Menands. Bob is the loving husband to Terryann Evans Berthiaume and father to Kaitlyn (Anthony Pantousco) Berthiaume; uncle to Linda (Tracy) Fraim of Sand Lake, Raymond (Jhon Villa) Berthiaume, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, FL., Lisa Berthiaume of Lantana, FL., Karen Robert of Grand Haven, MI., Brian (Jessica) Dalpe of Ohio; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews, his aunt Pauline Bourgeois. He also leaves behind many cousins and dear friends, including his loving pets.He is predeceased by his parents, Edmund and Marguerite (Bourgeois) Berthiaume, and siblings Raymond Berthiaume Sr., and Janet Dalpe. Bob was a car enthusiast who enjoyed working on and cruising around in his 2007 Mustang GT. Bob enjoyed entering his “Pony” in (and sometimes winning) local car shows. He loved cheering on the Yankees and was a seasonal ticket holder of the Siena Saints basketball team. He loved life and was known to many as “Bert” and “Apple Bob”. Family and friends are invited and may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday October 7, 2022, at the Wynantskill Funeral Home 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 am on Saturday October 8, 2022, at the St. Michael’s Church 175 Williams Road, Troy.
