Wynantskill-Ronald J. Elligott Sr. passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2025, the day after celebrating his 91st birthday.
A proud native of Troy NY, Ron was born January 26, 1934 to Patrick and Elizabeth, and lived on Ida Street with older brother Joe (Patrick Jr.) and younger sister Betty. Ron loved his boyhood pals, George Agars, Tony Bottillo, and Tom Comerford, his Marriage Encounter friends, and all the folks at the AOH hall.
In 2016 Ron and Mary Ann moved to Camden Maine, where Ron became something of a local, walking downtown to sit and sip a coffee by the harbor, and enjoying shows at the Opera House.
Ron was a warm, kind man who was always there when you needed him.
