Thomas Foley, Jr.

Troy-Thomas J. Foley, Jr, 87 beloved and cherished husband of Patti A. (Moore) Foley passed away to eternal rest on Sunday April 25, 2021 at the Eddy Heritage Nursing Home.

Tom graduated from Catholic Central High School, class of 1952, he served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.  He was the assistant manager of OTB in Troy.

Tom was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus Council 176, Capital District Celtic Cultural Association, the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Watervliet, and the Sons of Erin in Cape Cod.

Tom was a prolific reader, especially in American history.  He enjoyed and loved trips to Cape Cod and Vermont.  He was also an ardent Notre Dame and New York Yankee fan.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Patti, his sister Carol Ann Kelly of Queensbury, his brothers Robert W. Foley of Florida and William E. Foley of Schenectady.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many wonderful and loyal friends.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
