Vickie Ruth (Cooper) Attenborough

Vickie Ruth Attenborough, 66 passed away on May 28, 2024 at her home. Born on March 3, 1958 in Troy, New York, she was the daughter to the late Henry Harry Cooper, Jr and Sadie Ellen Dow Cooper, and the loving wife to the late Richard Bruce Attenborough, Jr., they were married on July 7, 1975.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Vickie is survived by her children Richie, Henry, Lottie, Betsy, Victoria, and Lilly, her twenty-four grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren, her siblings Jane, Dickie, Stanley, Tom, Charlotte, Henry and Betsy.

In addition to her mother and father and husband Richard, she was predeceased by son James and her siblings Lorriane, Andy and Levi.

Although, she had her share of life’s ups and downs, her smile and joy never left her. Her strength, beauty and heart were admired near and far. She loved big and she loved bold. Vickie Ruth Attenborough was not only blessed but she was also a blessing to all, and that is her life story.

Family and friends are invited and may call from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday May 31, 2024 at the Wynantskill Funeral Home 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill, NY 12198. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Saturday June 1, 2024 at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Selkirk.
